Heinz Berger moves his focus towards painting in 1990. Acrylics, canvas, wood, paper and stone. Using various materials to explore abstraction. In his work lightness and expressive color meet melancholic weight and the banality of everyday life.

Working in illustration, Heinz Berger joined Roger Mayer in Basel, Publicis Groupe in Paris and Margarethe Hubauer International Illustration from Hamburg. His illustrations were published by Rolling Stone Magazine and TransAtlantik among many others.
